Everything you might want to know before you upload a take. If your question is not here, our support page has every way to reach us.

The basics

You upload your own raw footage. Clypmint auto-cuts the dead air, stutters, and retakes, then adds captions, b-roll, and motion graphics, and returns a finished, post-ready MP4. If you paste a reference reel, it matches that creator’s editing style while it does all of this.

It is you. Clypmint never generates a face or a voice. It works only with the footage you shot: your real take, your real story, shaped, captioned, and styled. Nothing is synthesized.

Any creator’s reel, or one of your own. Clypmint reads its pacing, caption style, color, and motion, then edits your footage to match that exact look.

No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Output quality is genuinely good and improving steadily, but it is not flawless on every clip. Style matching, captions, and cuts are strong; some edits still benefit from a revision pass. We would rather you judge it on a real trial than take a marketing claim at face value.

Your footage and formats

Up to 90 minutes per upload. Anything past about three minutes is automatically split into chapters, each authored on its own, then stitched into one clean video.

It depends entirely on your source. A tight, clean take stays mostly intact. A long, rambling take can compress dramatically: a 74-minute recording, for example, can come down to under eight minutes by removing dead air, stutters, and retakes. There is no fixed target; the cut follows your footage.

Finished MP4 in landscape, vertical, or square, plus batches of shorts. Ready to post to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or X.

Editing and revisions

Tell it what is wrong in plain English: “keep the intro long,” “lose the b-roll at 0:40,” “punchier captions,” and it re-renders. No timeline, no software. Most creators land it in one or two passes.

None. If you can upload a video and type a sentence, you can use Clypmint. There is no timeline to learn.

Yes. Clypmint can return a finished long-form edit and a batch of vertical shorts pulled from the same upload.

Ownership and billing

Completely. You get a finished MP4 plus your caption files to keep, post, and license however you like, with no watermarks on any paid plan.

Pricing is usage-based and starts at $100 per month for Starter, with Pro and Studio tiers above it. Usage is measured in finished video seconds, so you pay for what you actually render. The current plans and limits live on the pricing page.

No. We do not train foundation models on your content, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
