Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Clypmint (the "Service"), operated by Parker Nuttall ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Clypmint is AI-assisted video editing software. You may upload footage, create an Auto-cut, edit the resulting timeline, and use paid AI capabilities included in your plan. Quality, timing, processing time, and available output formats may vary by plan and source material.

3. Accounts & Payment

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. New self-serve customers may start one 14-day free trial of the Starter plan. A card is required. The trial is offered on Starter only; Pro and Pro 2x are charged from the day you subscribe. The trial includes 3 Instant videos, 10 source-minutes, and 5 watermarked exports. It also includes 1 Extended edit with the Director on a source under 60 seconds, 5 further Director steering turns, and 1 saved reference style. It does not include Deep Extract style cloning. Unless you cancel through the billing portal before the trial ends, Stripe automatically charges the monthly or annual price shown at checkout and the selected paid plan begins. Cancelling during the trial stops that first charge.

Starter, Pro, Pro 2x, Studio, and Agency plans are billed through Stripe monthly or annually. Annual prices equal ten months of the corresponding monthly price, an effective discount of approximately 16.7%. Changing to a higher plan raises your allowance immediately, but does not erase usage already recorded in the same UTC calendar month. Cancelling a paid plan stops renewal and access continues through the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

4. Usage & Fair Use

The trial and each paid plan have documented usage, source-duration, style-extraction, export, storage, seat, and processing limits. Trial usage carries into the selected plan's allowance when the first charge succeeds. We may enforce daily, weekly, monthly, concurrency, and technical-cost protections to prevent runaway or abusive use. Creating duplicate accounts, evading a limit, or automating access may result in blocking or suspension.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that infringes on third-party copyright, trademark, or likeness rights you do not have permission to use.
  • Generate content that is defamatory, deceptive (deepfakes impersonating real people without consent), sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise illegal.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our models, prompts, or internal APIs.
  • Resell access to the Service in a way that materially competes with us.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your uploaded material and of the finished videos we produce for you. You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to deliver the Service (transcription, analysis, rendering, storage, and style reuse scoped to your account). We own the Service, the style contracts, and all underlying software.

7. Data, Privacy, Deletion

We process personal data per our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your Plan & billing page; deletion is irreversible.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers for cloud hosting, AI processing, transcription, rendering, payments, analytics, authentication, and data storage, including AWS, Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, OpenAI, Moonshot AI, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, ElevenLabs, and fal.ai. Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' terms for the portions of the pipeline they handle.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes & Termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-product or by email. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.
